About Us
The Grand Isle Speckled Trout
Rodeo was established in 1997 and is a non-profit organization.
The rodeo was formed to promote sport fishing in Grand Isle and
to cultivate and promote civic and community projects.
The Grand Isle Speckled Trout
Rodeo is comprised of couples from the Grand Isle and surrounding
areas. The association wishes to thank rodeo participants, sponsors,
and workers for supporting this community project. Through their
support, the organization has been able to donate funds to the
following community organizations:
• Support the Grand Isle
Tourist Commission
• Grand Isle Beautification Program – Funds are provided
to the Grand Isle Beautification Program
• Grand Isle High School Library Fund – Funds were
provided to the High School Library Fund toward the purchase of
much needed updated library books.
• Provided computers to Grand Isle High School
• Senior Citizens – Funds and computer were provided
• Cross Point – The rodeo association contributes
to this annual function
• Cancer Program – Funds are donated to the annual
Cancer for Life Relay
• Education Rally – Sponsors Grand Isle High School
students who participate in the Education Rally
• G.I.V.E.S. – Donated funds for the Grand Isle Volunteer
Emergency Services
• American Legion – donated funds to the American
Legion
• Children’s Christmas fund – The rodeo association
donated funds to the annual Grand Isle Children’s Christmas
Fund
• New York Fireman’s Fund – after the tragic
events of September 11, 2001, the rodeo donated to the New York
Fireman’s Fund
• Donated funds to cancer and fire victims in Grand Isle
community
• Grand Isle Alumni Fund
We appreciate the support you have provided in the past and are
